Mosul: A joint force from the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) and the army carried out a security operation south of Mosul.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation involved the 58th Brigade of the PMF Operations Command and the 50th Brigade / 14th Division of the army. The forces conducted a large-scale security operation in several villages adjacent to Mount Qara Jogh, located within the Makhmur Mountains south of Mosul.

The statement from the PMF detailed that the objective of the operation is to comb and secure areas and villages in the region. This effort is part of ongoing initiatives to enhance security and stability in the region and to pursue terrorist elements that may threaten peace.
