Nineveh: A joint security force conducted a raid and search operation on sites in Nineveh believed to be used to target oil fields in Kurdistan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Popular Mobilization Authority stated in a statement that forces from the Anti-Terrorism Service and the 44th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Authority conducted the search operation after receiving information indicating that the source of the drone launch was Hatra Island in Nineveh Governorate.

The statement explained that the operation is scheduled to continue for several days until the source of the suspected threats is eliminated.
