Taiz:Diyala A joint security force has killed one terrorist operative and wounded another during an operation in the Sharwin area of Al-Mansouriya District, the Diyala Police Command announced.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was conducted by a coalition of police, the National Security Service, and the army, under the supervision of the Diyala Police Chief, Major General Mohammed Kadhim Attiya. The operation was based on precise intelligence from the National Security Service, leading to an ambush at a terrorist hideout where one terrorist was killed.

The Diyala Police Command stated that security forces are continuing their efforts to locate the wounded terrorist operative to apprehend him. The Command emphasized the ongoing coordination among security agencies and the importance of proactive operations to pursue terrorist elements, aiming to bolster security and stability across the province.
