AMMAN: Jordanian and Iraqi officials are engaging in discussions to bolster cooperation in the field of therapeutic industries and medical supplies, aiming to enhance the presence of Jordanian medical products in the Iraqi market. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Fadi Al-Atrash, the representative of the Medical Industries and Medical Supplies Sector in the Jordan Chamber of Industry, met with Suleiman Amarin, the Jordanian Health Attaché in Iraq, to discuss strategies for increasing collaboration between the two nations. Al-Atrash emphasized the importance of strengthening Jordan's relationships with Arab countries, particularly Iraq, to expand the reach of Jordanian medical products in regional and global markets. He highlighted that Jordanian medicines meet all necessary requirements to enter these markets. Suleiman Amarin underscored the significance of Jordanian pharmaceutical industries in Iraq, citing the substantial production capacity and numerous investment opportunities available. He note d that Jordanian industries have a strong opportunity to establish a presence in the Iraqi market, supported by various incentives such as specialized industrial zones, tax exemptions, and accessible financing options from Iraqi banks.
