Baghdad: Journalist Ahmed Abu Matar was martyred today, Sunday, in the central Gaza Strip. Local sources reported in a press statement that the journalist, who worked as a broadcast engineer at PMP Media Company, lost his life due to the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the town of Al-Zawaida.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the attack resulted in the tragic death of Abu Matar, highlighting the ongoing risks faced by journalists in conflict zones. The incident underscores the dangerous conditions for media personnel working in areas of active conflict, where they often put their lives on the line to report on critical events.
