Baghdad: The Supreme Judicial Council President Faiq Zidan met head of Iraq National Security Service – INSS Bassem al-Badri to discuss coordination on investigative cases falling within the INSS’s jurisdiction.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Supreme Judicial Council stated that ‘the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, received the head of the National Security Service, Bassem al-Badri.’

The statement noted that at the beginning of the meeting, Zidan congratulated al-Badri on assuming his position. Discussions were held regarding joint coordination between the judiciary and the National Security Service on investigative cases under INSS jurisdiction.
