Kanna: Qaani’s Visit To Iraq Is Part Of The Interest Of Neighboring Countries In The Iraqi Issue

Baghdad Former member of the House of Representatives, Yonadam Kanna, confirmed that the visit of the commander of the Iranian Quds Force, Ismail Qaani, to the country is part of the interest of neighboring countries in the Iraqi affairs.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that Qaani’s visit to Najaf is the announced part of it, where he visited the shrines of martyrs and the holy shrines, and this is a normal matter.

Kanna added: As for the rest of the activities, we are not aware of them, but it is natural for neighboring countries to care and seek to stabilize their neighborhood because our interests are intertwined, especially the security aspects.

He pointed out that any security repercussions, God forbid, in this aspect will reflect negatively on the other side as well.

The commander of the Quds Force had made an unannounced visit to the country, during which he visited the holy shrines and met with a number of leaders of political blocs.
