Karbala: The Governor of Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, met with Lee Joon-il, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Iraq, at the governorate's headquarters to explore opportunities for enhancing collaboration in reconstruction and development.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Karbala and South Korea, with particular emphasis on facilitating foreign investment and supporting Korean companies operating in the region. The Korean Ambassador acknowledged the support and facilities extended to these companies, noting their contribution to successful missions and the growing interest in investment within the governorate.

The Governor of Karbala reiterated the importance of forming international partnerships as part of the governorate's strategic vision for sustainable development, emphasizing the commitment to opening up new avenues for collaboration with foreign entities.
