Karbala Governor Confirms Successful Execution of Security and Health Plans

Karbala: Karbala Governor Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi confirmed on Tuesday that security and health plans are proceeding "excellently and as planned," noting that there is direct follow-up from the Prime Minister and high-level coordination between the federal and local governments to ensure the success of the visit.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Khattabi explained that a plan has been put in place to dispatch pilgrims after the end of the pilgrimage ceremony. The plan includes the allocation of 500 buses to transport pilgrims from the eastern axis, 1,300 buses to the southern axis, and 580 buses to the northern axis, in addition to trucks from supporting ministries. He emphasized that roads remain open and no security breaches have been recorded, attributing this to the efforts of the security forces.
