Karbala: The Arab and International Police, affiliated with the Karbala Governorate Police Command, arrested 49 foreign workers in Karbala for violating residency regulations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police statement indicated that the operation was carried out after careful field monitoring of the movement of foreign workers within the governorate, which confirmed their violation of residency regulations.

The statement added that the violators were handed over to the Residency Affairs Department/Deportation Division to complete the necessary legal procedures against them in accordance with applicable regulations and instructions.
