Karbala: Karbala Police Command issued a statement clarifying the alleged kidnapping of three girls in the province. The statement addressed a video circulating on social media in which a woman pleaded for help, claiming that her three daughters had been kidnapped and abused.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the police's continuous monitoring led to an investigation into the woman's claims. It was discovered that the information provided was false and fabricated. The police located the three girls, who have been living with their grandfather for over 11 years and were neither kidnapped nor abused. They are currently under the care of the Family and Child Protection Department, which is thoroughly following up on and investigating the situation.
