Karbala: A meeting was held in Karbala to discuss preparations for receiving the body of the Iranian Supreme Leader. The Governor of the Holy City of Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, chaired the meeting with the directors of the security and service departments in the governorate. The focus was on ensuring readiness for the reception and funeral procession of the martyred Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Governor directed all departments to allocate resources and provide optimal organizational and service conditions to ensure the success of the event. This directive aims to present the event in a manner that reflects the significance of the holy city of Karbala. Additionally, the Governor highlighted the necessity of considering all observations submitted by the High Committee formed in the Prime Minister's Office.
