Ankara: Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Ankara on Monday, leading an official delegation, and was warmly received by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Turkish Presidential Communications Director Burhanattin Duran stated that Tokayev’s visit to Turkey will span two days. During this time, he will join Erdogan in the fifth meeting of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council between the two nations.

The discussions at the Presidential Complex will focus on evaluating the progress of the “enhanced strategic partnership” between Turkey and Kazakhstan and exploring steps to further deepen this relationship. The leaders are also expected to exchange views on current international and regional issues.

The visit is anticipated to result in the signing of numerous documents and agreements aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.
