Tehran: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei, expressed on Tuesday that the ability of Iranian forces to breach Israel’s sophisticated air defenses and target its key locations is considered one of the greatest divine blessings for the Republic.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Khamenei shared his views via a tweet, stating, “We thank God for the success of our armed forces, enabling them to penetrate the advanced, multi-layered defenses of the Zionist entity, and to impose pressure on many of its urban and military areas with their advanced and powerful missiles and weapons, completely destroying them. This is one of the greatest divine blessings.”

He also referenced the ongoing military tensions and a temporary calm followed by an escalation between Iran and Israel. This led to reciprocal airstrikes, with the involvement of US forces. With American support, Israel conducted strikes on Iranian nuclear and military sites in Isfahan, Qom, and Natanz during “Operation Midnight Hammer,” aimed at disrupting Iran’s nuclear activities.
