Tehran: Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, stated that the weapon that sinks warships is more dangerous than any warship. In a speech responding to threats from US President Donald Trump, Ayatollah Khamenei said: ‘We are living through days of mourning for the blood that was shed during the recent sedition. The victims fall into three categories: the security forces, whom I consider among the best martyrs; innocent bystanders who were killed; and those who were deceived and participated, some of whom later regretted their actions.’ He emphasized that all of these are considered martyrs, with the exception of the leaders of the sedition and those who collaborated with the enemy, praying for mercy and forgiveness for them.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, he added that all the victims and martyrs, except for the agents, are sons of Iran, and everyone is mourning the blood that was shed during the recent sedition. He affirmed that the security forces, whether law enforcement, the Basij, or the Revolutionary Guard, were martyred, and these are among the best martyrs.

In response to Trump’s threat, Ayatollah Khamenei added: ‘Even the strongest army in the world can sometimes suffer a devastating blow from which it cannot recover.’ He emphasized that what is more dangerous than an aircraft carrier is the weapon that can send it to the depths of the sea. He stressed: You will not be able to destroy the Islamic Republic.

Khamenei affirmed: America has admitted that it has failed for decades to subdue Iran, and I say to their president today, “You too will not be able to subdue Iran.”
