Baghdad: Head of the Sovereignty Alliance, Sheikh Khamis al-Khanjar, received Rakan al-Jubouri, head of the Arab Coalition in Kirkuk, in his office in Baghdad, following al-Jubouri’s release from detention.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting between the two leaders involved discussions on several significant issues concerning Kirkuk Governorate. Sheikh al-Khanjar emphasized the necessity of maintaining communication with citizens and pursuing the goals established by the Sovereignty Alliance in the region.

Al-Jubouri’s arrest occurred in Baghdad, where he was held pending investigation into allegations related to the misappropriation of public funds. He secured his release on bail earlier today.
