Amara: A suspect accused of shooting and killing a woman in one of the districts of Amara was captured within just thirty minutes of the crime, as announced by the Maysan Governorate Police Command.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the police command detailed that the arrest followed an urgent security alert. This swift response involved setting up checkpoints, tightening security measures, and actively pursuing the suspect. Authorities disseminated the suspect’s vehicle description based on the available information, which proved vital in the quick capture.
The police command further disclosed that the suspect was apprehended at a checkpoint, and the weapon used in the crime was seized. The suspect has been taken to a detention center to complete the legal proceedings against him, adhering to the applicable rules.
