Kirkuk: Kirkuk International Airport announced on Wednesday direct flights to Cairo starting October 4.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a statement by Kirkuk Airport administration revealed that direct flights between Kirkuk and Cairo will commence on October 4, 2026. This initiative is part of efforts to expand the destination network and enhance air connectivity.

The statement further noted that the introduction of this route is intended to provide direct travel options for passengers and increase air traffic between Kirkuk and the Arab Republic of Egypt.
