Kirkuk Governor Discusses Joint Cooperation with Australian Ambassador to Iraq


Kirkuk: Kirkuk Governor Rebwar Taha discussed joint cooperation with the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Glenn Miles. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration between the Kirkuk administration and the Australian government, aiming to enhance various sectors within the province.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Australian Ambassador expressed that his visit was intended to assess the current situation in Kirkuk and identify potential areas where Australia could offer support. This includes examining the region’s needs and exploring avenues for future assistance.



The Governor highlighted the administration’s priorities, which include fostering coexistence among different communities, advancing economic and industrial development, and creating employment opportunities for the youth. These objectives are seen as crucial for the stability and growth of the province, and the collaboration with Australia is viewed as a step towards achieving these goals.
