Kirkuk Governor Urges End to Media Campaigns, Emphasizes Cooperation with Provincial Council


Kirkuk: The governor of Kirkuk has called for a halt to all media campaigns and affirmed his commitment to cooperating with the provincial council leadership. Kirkuk Governor Mohammed Saman Agha has urged media outlets and activists to cease campaigns and messages that might harm the social unity in Kirkuk or offend the governorate’s administration and council.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Governor Agha emphasized the importance of responsibility, concern, and partnership in working together for the governorate’s welfare and securing its entitlements. He appealed for constructive and supportive messages that reinforce partnership and justice among all communities in the area.



Governor Agha highlighted that differences and various perspectives should be resolved through constructive dialogue, emphasizing, “We are all sons of Iraq and people of Kirkuk with all its diverse communities.” His call aims to foster a harmonious environment and strengthen the social fabric in the region.
