Kurdistan Announces Suspension of Official Working Hours for Peace Agreement Anniversary

Erbil: Official working hours will be suspended next Wednesday and Thursday in Kurdistan. The Kurdistan Regional Government announced today, Monday, that official working hours will be suspended next Wednesday and Thursday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Kurdistan Regional Government issued a statement saying, "According to the official government calendar, all official institutions in the Kurdistan Region will be closed on Wednesday (March 11, 2026) to commemorate the anniversary of the peace agreement (March 11 Agreement)."

The statement further explained that "Thursday (March 12, 2026) will also be an official holiday." Additionally, it was noted that "salaries will continue to be paid during the holiday, and service institutions will remain open."
