Erbil: The Election Commission has announced the results of the elections for the Kurdistan Regional Parliament in the Erbil Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Kurdistan Democratic Party emerged as the leading party, securing 17 seats. The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan followed with 6 seats, while the New Generation secured 5 seats. The Heloist Bloc, the Islamic Union, the Kurdistan Justice Group, and the People’s Front each obtained 1 seat. Additionally, 1 seat was allocated to the Christian Quota and 1 seat to the Turkmen Quota.
