Erbil: The Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Regional Government denied the presence of Israeli bases in the region. The Ministry stated in a statement: “Some official media outlets in Iran reported that an Israeli base in Erbil was attacked by a drone,” stressing: “This is far from the truth, as there are no Israeli bases in the Kurdistan Region.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry clarified: “Last night, a drone fell in the Cholawani area near Erbil, and these attacks are carried out by some groups to sow chaos.”
