Kuwait: Kuwait announced that its armed forces intercepted two ballistic missiles and 13 hostile drones. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense spokesman Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al-Atwan stated that the Kuwaiti armed forces detected two ballistic missiles and 13 hostile drones that had violated Kuwaiti airspace early Wednesday morning. He added that they were successfully intercepted and dealt with. The statement also indicated that the attacks resulted in no material damage or casualties.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Kuwait’s strongest condemnation of the repeated Iranian attacks on Kuwait, the latest of which occurred Wednesday morning. In a statement, the Ministry said that these attacks constitute “a blatant violation of its sovereignty, a direct threat to its security and stability and the safety of its citizens and residents, and a grave violation of international law, the UN Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.”

The ministry reiterated that “the continuation of these blatant attacks, at a time when regional and international efforts are underway to de-escalate the situation, constitutes a systematic undermining of these efforts and disregards the international will supporting this path.”
