Al-Majar: The Maysan Operations Command has successfully seized a large cache of weapons and equipment in the Al-Majar district during an intelligence-led operation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the operation was executed under the directives of the Maysan Operations Commander, Major General Abdul Hussein Khafif Lazem, and was supervised by the Commander of the 22nd Commando Division. A joint force from the 80th Commando Brigade of the 2nd and 3rd Regiments, in collaboration with a unit from the National Security, conducted the operation based on accurate intelligence information. The operation took place in the Al-Jama’iyyat area, which is part of the Al-Majar Al-Kabir district, located 30 kilometers south of the city of Amara. The seized items have been handed over to the requesting party in accordance with the law.
