Baghdad: A truck loaded with large quantities of smuggled alcoholic beverages was seized on the Baghdad-Kirkuk road. Detachments from the Control Affairs Department of the Diyala Police Command discovered the alcohol, which had been professionally concealed in an attempt to bypass security forces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Haitham Al-Shammari, Director of Media for the Diyala Police, reported that the truck was intercepted and the smuggled goods were confiscated. The truck driver, along with the illicit cargo, has been handed over to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.
