Diyala: The Diyala Police Command announced the seizure of large quantities of alcoholic beverages intended for smuggling and violating applicable regulations and instructions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Command stated in a press release that Diyala police detachments successfully intercepted a truck loaded with a substantial amount of alcoholic beverages meant for smuggling. This operation was based on precise information and continuous field surveillance, leading to legal action being taken against the truck driver.

The press release further mentioned that this operation is part of the police command's ongoing efforts to reduce smuggling activities in all forms, enhance economic security, and prevent the circulation of unlicensed materials outside of legal regulations.
