Southern lebanon: Southern Lebanon witnessed a significant escalation of violence on Monday, including bombings, artillery shelling, drone strikes, and Israeli incursions into several towns and border areas.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lebanese media reported that the Israeli army carried out a large explosion in the area between the towns of Kfar Tebnit and Arnoun in the Nabatieh district. Explosions were also reported in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Deir Siryan, Houla, and Mays al-Jabal, coinciding with artillery shelling that targeted the outskirts of Mayfadoun, Bani Hayyan, al-Mansouri, and other areas in southern Lebanon.

An Israeli drone also targeted the Ali al-Taher heights in the Nabatieh district, while reports indicated that barrel bombs were dropped on the same area, accompanied by artillery shelling that continued into the early morning hours.

In Mays al-Jabal, sources reported that an Israeli force advanced into the western outskirts of the town, particularly the Hawshin area, amidst artillery shelling and machine gun fire, which led to a fire breaking out.
