Baghdad: The courtyard of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali in Najaf witnessed the launch ceremony of the “Millennium of the Hawza” project. This significant event took place on Wednesday evening, drawing a select group of religious, scholarly, and intellectual figures, all under the auspices of the holy shrines.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Jafar al-Budairi, Assistant Head of the Media Department, stated that the ceremony was organized to celebrate the 1000-year scholarly journey of the Hawza in Najaf. It aimed to commemorate the contributions of its scholars in preserving and disseminating the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them), with a special focus on Sheikh al-Tusi, who laid the foundational principles of this religious school.
