Erbil:Second- and third-year law students from Cihan University-Erbil held an awareness seminar on the role of artificial intelligence in education at Khanzad Primary School for Boys. The event took place under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Saman Hassan Ali.

According to Cihan University, students Ahmed Mustafa and Hawjin Mohsin led the seminar, which focused on both the challenges and benefits of AI in the educational sector. Ahmed Mustafa discussed the potential negative impacts of AI, emphasizing concerns such as academic dishonesty and intellectual property infringement. Meanwhile, Hawjin Mohsin highlighted the positive contributions of AI, such as enhancing learning methods, saving time and resources, and improving students’ academic performance.

The seminar was part of a field visit welcomed by the school principal, Mr. Karwan Mohammad, and aimed to engage students in understanding the dual impact of AI in their learning environment.
