Baghdad: The head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, has officially filed a lawsuit against a group known as the “Salah Al-Din Quartet,” comprising Ahmed al-Jubouri (“Abu Mazen”), Mishaan al-Jubouri, Yazan al-Jubouri, and Abdul Hamid al-Abd Rabbo. The lawsuit accuses the quartet of creating crises, inciting discord, and fueling disputes to serve their personal interests.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Halbousi’s lawsuit also claims that the four individuals have been inciting against the judiciary and casting doubt on its procedures in combating corruption. The head of the Progress Party alleges that these actions have been detrimental to the judicial authority’s efforts in maintaining integrity and transparency within the system.
