Najaf: The Lebanese Ambassador to Iraq, Ali Al-Habhab, engaged in discussions with Najaf Governor Yousef Kanawi to explore avenues for enhancing joint cooperation in various sectors between Lebanon and the province of Najaf.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Governor Kanawi emphasized the significance of nurturing bilateral relations, particularly in the economic, tourism, agricultural, and industrial sectors. The discussions also revolved around identifying investment opportunities within the province, which could foster mutual growth.
The media office further elaborated that the dialogue included potential collaborations aimed at exchanging and developing expertise to bolster Najaf’s standing as a religious, cultural, and historical hub. Ambassador Al-Habhab expressed Lebanon’s keen interest in expanding cooperation with the Najaf Governorate and commended the province for its vast capabilities.
