Lebanese MTV: Lebanon’s Ambassadors To The Gulf Cooperation Council Countries Will Be Expelled In The Coming Hours

Baghdad The Lebanese MTV television quoted a source close to the Gulf Cooperation Council that all the ambassadors of Lebanon “will be expelled from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in the next few hours.”

This development coincides with Saudi Arabia’s recalling its ambassador to Lebanon for consultations, and its request from Lebanon’s ambassador to the Kingdom to leave within the next 48 hours.

Saudi Arabia expressed its regret “for the outcome of relations with the Lebanese Republic due to the Lebanese authorities’ ignoring of the facts and their continued failure to take corrective measures to ensure that relations are regarded,” according to a statement published by the Saudi Press Agency.

This comes against the background of the diplomatic crisis between Riyadh and Beirut, related to the statements of the Lebanese Minister of Information, George Kordahi regarding Saudi Arabia, which Riyadh described as “slanders.”
