BABYLON: More than 1,200 Lebanese individuals have been resettled in the region of Babylon, Iraq, under the supervision of the Popular Mobilization Commission, as confirmed by Louay Al-Zamili, the Commission's Director. This relocation effort has been ongoing over the past several days. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Zamili stated that the Popular Mobilization Commission has been actively involved in facilitating the movement of visitors from Baghdad to Babylon. This has been achieved through collaboration with local donors, notably the Union Sugar Company, which has provided two residential complexes in southern Hillah for the use of Iraqi visitors. Additionally, several apartments owned by the Popular Mobilization were offered to support this housing initiative. Al-Zamili further detailed that a logistical campaign is underway to gather essential household items, food, and medical supplies to support the newly relocated Lebanese families.
