Beirut: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the Israeli raid that targeted a building in the southern suburbs of Beirut at dawn on Tuesday, stressing that it is "a serious warning about the premeditated intentions against Lebanon."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Lebanese presidency on the X platform read: "The persistence of the Israeli aggression requires us to exert more effort to address Lebanon's friends around the world and mobilize them in support of our right to full sovereignty over our land, and to prevent any violation of sovereignty from abroad, or from infiltrators within Lebanon who provide an additional pretext for aggression."

Aoun continued: "We will work with the government and its prime minister to thwart any attempt to waste this exceptional opportunity to save Lebanon.
