Lebanon: Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stated that his country has made "positive progress" in the Rome negotiations regarding the border and prisoner exchange files. During a cabinet session held at Baabda Palace, Aoun addressed the ongoing discussions and their implications for Lebanon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the president explained that the negotiations in Rome encompassed various critical issues, including the ceasefire, the demolition and bulldozing of homes, the border, the return of prisoners, and the demarcation of designated areas. Aoun highlighted that the talks had yielded positive developments particularly concerning the border and prisoner matters.

He expressed optimism that practical measures would soon be implemented, though he did not provide specific details. Furthermore, President Aoun mentioned that the US administration is expected to play a role in addressing the ceasefire and designated area issues moving forward.
