Leeds: Leeds United secured a resounding 4-1 victory over Newcastle United on Monday evening in the fourth round of the English Premier League. This win lifts Leeds to third place with eight points, four points behind second-placed Manchester City and level on points with league leaders and defending champions Arsenal. Newcastle, meanwhile, remain on five points in twelfth place.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Leeds took the lead in the 32nd minute when Newcastle’s Lewis Miley inadvertently put the ball into his own net. Two minutes later, Jayden Bogle doubled Leeds’ advantage. Dominic Calvert-Lewin added a third in first-half stoppage time, and Noah Okafor completed the rout in the 59th minute.

Newcastle’s consolation goal came in the final minute of second-half stoppage time from Bazoumana Toure.
