Licensing Committee Sanctions 17 Clubs in Iraqi Stars League, Issues Warnings to Others

Baghdad: The Licensing Committee of the Iraqi Football Association has officially granted licenses to 17 clubs in the Iraqi Stars League, while also issuing stern warnings to several other clubs that failed to meet necessary criteria.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, following a regular meeting held on Wednesday evening, the committee revealed that Al-Jawlan, Diyala, and Al-Talaba clubs were not granted licenses due to their inability to comply with the financial criteria set forth by the association. The statement highlighted that these clubs can still rectify their standing by submitting their applications to the Licensing Appeals Committee within a 48-hour timeframe.
