Babylon: A lion was captured north of Babylon after being sedated. Units under the command of the Musayyib Police Department Director, in conjunction with a unit from the Musayyib Environment Directorate, managed to capture the lion in an open area in the northern part of the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babil Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar al-Shammari, stated that precautionary measures were taken to secure the area and protect citizens. This resulted in the successful capture of the lion without any injuries.
