Oslo: Norwegian police reported hearing a "loud" explosion near the US Embassy in Oslo. Oslo Police Operations Commander Per-Ivar Iversen stated in the police log that authorities deployed security personnel to the area after receiving a report around 1:00 AM on Sunday about a loud noise or explosion at the location. She added, "The police are in contact with the embassy, and no injuries have been reported so far."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, police confirmed that they do not yet have precise information about what happened or who might be involved. The US Embassy has been located in the Husby area of Vester Aker since 2017, after relocating from its previous location at Henrik Ibsen Street 48 near Solli Plass.
