Baghdad The independent Kurdish politician Mahmoud Othman confirmed that the Kurdish parties did not agree on the name of the candidate for the Presidency of the Republic for the next parliamentary session, noting that the two Kurdish parties, the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, are the ones who nominate the personality for the post of President of the Republic after an agreement between them.

Othman said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the Kurdish parties are waiting for the Shiite-Shiite agreement, to nominate the candidate of the largest bloc to head the next government, in order to start talks to form the government, pointing out that the Kurdish blocs have not yet agreed to go collectively and with one delegation to negotiate or severally “.

Othman pointed out that the foreign interference in the matter of forming the government came from the Iranian and American sides, but their impact will be less than the last period, given that the interest in Iraq has become less due to the large number of its internal problems.
