Baghdad: Nouri al-Maliki, head of the State of Law Coalition, met with Masoud Barzani, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, to discuss the political situation and the results of ongoing dialogues between national forces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Maliki’s media office released a statement highlighting the meeting’s focus on the political situation and the outcomes of dialogues between national forces. Al-Maliki stressed the need to continue joint efforts to expedite the formation of a government that aligns with the aspirations of the Iraqi people. He underscored the importance of this collaboration in strengthening stability and protecting the democratic process in the country.
