Baghdad: The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, met with Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq movement, to discuss strategies to overcome the political deadlock and prepare for the upcoming parliamentary session scheduled for next Monday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place at al-Khazali's office, where both leaders engaged in discussions about the latest developments in the country's political landscape. They explored various strategies to break the ongoing political deadlock and emphasized the importance of finalizing preparations for the forthcoming parliamentary session.

The Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq media office reported that the meeting also covered the broader political situation in the country. Both leaders stressed the need to prioritize national interests and foster cooperation among political forces. This cooperation is deemed essential to strengthening stability and guiding the political process along its correct constitutional path.
