Hillah: A man was killed following a fight after being stabbed in the Musayyib district, north of Hillah, on Sunday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media Director of Babylon Police, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, stated, “A fight between two men in the Musayyib district led to the death of a man after he was stabbed multiple times with a knife.” He mentioned that the victim was in his forties.

Brigadier General Al-Husseini added that when Musayyib police arrived at the scene, the suspect attempted to flee by climbing onto rooftops while armed with a machine gun. Despite his attempts to shoot at the police, the suspect was eventually surrounded and arrested.
