Baghdad: Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) leader Masoud Barzani received Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement, and his accompanying delegation in Pirmam today, Tuesday. A statement by Barzani’s office indicated that the meeting focused on the political situation in Iraq and the region, addressing both the obstacles and challenges facing the political process in Iraq and the relations among Iraqi political parties.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions also covered the Iraqi Parliament elections, underscoring the significance of these elections in shaping the future political landscape. Both leaders exchanged views on the current political dynamics and explored potential pathways to enhance collaboration among the various political entities in Iraq.
