Erbil: Kurdistan Democratic Party leader Masoud Barzani welcomed the nomination of Nouri al-Maliki for prime minister.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Barzani expressed his support for al-Maliki’s nomination in a statement. He stated, “We welcome the decision of the Coordination Framework to nominate Nouri al-Maliki for the position of Prime Minister of Iraq.
