Erbil: Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani chaired a meeting on Sunday with the government delegation tasked with negotiating with the federal government.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the regional government released a statement detailing that Prime Minister Barzani was briefed with a comprehensive report from the negotiating delegation. The report highlighted the latest developments in ongoing technical and legal discussions with the federal government.

The delegation conveyed that they have furnished the federal government with all necessary data and information, along with required clarifications on various issues and files.

At the meeting’s conclusion, the emphasis was placed on the importance of continuing dialogue and intensifying efforts to accelerate the pace of negotiations. The ultimate goal is to reach an agreement that ensures the constitutional rights, financial dues, and salaries of the Kurdistan Region.
