Erbil: Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received US ChargE d’Affaires to Iraq, Ambassador Steven Fagin, for a meeting focused on regional security and diplomatic relations. The discussions centered on ways to strengthen the bonds of friendship and the existing partnership between the Kurdistan Region and the United States.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting also involved an exchange of views on the general situation in Iraq and the broader region. Both leaders expressed their commitment to enhancing the distinguished relations between the two regions. Furthermore, they jointly condemned recent attacks targeting the Kurdistan Region and emphasized the critical importance of preserving the area’s security and stability.
