Maysan Governor discusses with the Indian Ambassador cooperation in investment, scientific and health fields

Amara Maysan Governor “Ali Dowai Lazem” discussed with the Indian Ambassador to Iraq “Bishant Besai” and his accompanying delegation, joint cooperation in the investment, health and scientific fields.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation in the field of investment projects in the industrial city and the development of relations in the educational aspect, especially with regard to the allocation of study fellowships to the people of the province, the recruitment of specialized doctors, and the possibility of developing the capabilities of employees and unemployed youth, especially graduates, in addition to inviting Indian companies to invest in the Maysan province”.

The Governor reviewed the province’s capabilities of natural resources, raw materials, human resources and expertise in all fields, stressing the need for cooperation and follow-up to achieve the desired goals of this visit.

For his part, the Ambassador expressed his admiration for Maysan Governorate, for investment opportunities presented by the Governor, and the desire to cooperate to invest in various sectors, as the governorate is attractive and attracts foreign investors
