Baghdad The commander of Maysan operations announced the readiness of Al-Sheeb border crossing to receive the Arbaeen pilgrims, after completing all the security and service procedures.

The Security Media Cell said in a statement received by NINA that the commander of Maysan operations, Major General Muhammad Jassem Al-Zubaidi, inspected Al-Sheeb border crossing east of the city of Al-Amara in order to put the final touches to receive the Arbaeen pilgrims of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The operations commander said, according to the cell’s statement, that the port is ready to receive Arbaeen pilgrims from the Iranian side after all security and service measures have been completed along the road, stressing the deployment of all security units from the army, police and intelligence services from Al-Sheeb port towards the holy shrines, passing through the city of Al-Amara.
